I store your email address, your consent, and the page where you submitted the form.

I send a confirmation link that expires after 24 hours. Unconfirmed requests are removed after seven days.

You can unsubscribe from any message.

Email alex@janjic.ca to ask for a copy, a correction, or deletion of your newsletter records.

Website analytics and cookies

Google Analytics is optional. It does not load until you choose Accept analytics. Reject analytics and continued browsing without a choice leave it off. Advertising consent and Google signals are disabled.

After acceptance, Google receives website usage information, including page visits, browser and device information, and network information such as your IP address. Enhanced measurement may also record scrolling, outbound clicks, downloads, video interactions, site searches and form interactions, depending on the Google Analytics settings. Automatic events may include page URLs and search terms. Google processes this information to provide analytics and may process it outside your country. See policies.google.com/privacy for Google’s privacy policy.

Analytics cookies include _ga and _ga_KPQC5NZ4JM. They are configured to expire after 180 days without renewal. Your accepted or rejected choice is stored locally for 180 days using context-window.analytics-consent.v1. This preference stores no email address.

Use Cookie settings in the footer to change your choice. Rejecting after acceptance clears this site’s analytics cookies and reloads the page without analytics. It does not delete information already received by Google. Contact alex@janjic.ca about privacy requests.

Newsletter signup and optional email measurement are separate choices. The newsletter prompt waits while the cookie notice is visible. Its local preference stores dismissal timing, not your email address. Necessary site functions, security logs, and newsletter consent records are not controlled by the analytics choice.
